HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! WHY SHOULD WE CELEBRATE NEW YEAR

Like in past, the moment of year change has come and most of are exchanging wishes for a prosperous new year. Since past few years a feeling about the futility of this ritual had developed in mind. Last night I was thinking what is so special in a particular moment – when the counter of the year changes form 2008 to 2009?

After lot of pondering I concluded that yes it makes a significant difference. Each one of us is affected by the natures’ biggest clock—the seasons, coming of the winter, the fog, the cold breeze, a decrease in inflation, abundance of healthy vegetables, fruits, beautiful flowers, enjoyable holidays with children and family. Yes we can literally see in front of us the changing of seasons and the passing of the year! It is in our mind as well as in our surroundings.

The Nature itself has given us an occasion to count it – to celebrate and thank it – thank the GOD for all his bounties which are free – including smiles on the faces of fellow Human beings ! SO CHEERS!
Perhaps it is the only universal celebration which is free from any religious tag, any regional label, any type of linguistic or community feelings. It is truly a man-kind’s festival. It is beyond any country’s boundary. It is truly festival of TIME. SO, WISHING YOU ONCE AGAIN A VERY VERY HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR-2009. WITH BEST WISHES FOR ALL AND FOR BSNL AND FOR OUR COUNTRY AND FOR OUR WORLD.
